Feature Friday: St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, Puerto Rico

On November 4th, Bahia, Puerto Rico received one of the world’s most luxurious resorts, the St. Regis. The St. Regis is known for their impeccable 24 hour Butler Service, fine linens, comfort, and class. The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort is no exception. From the infinity pool, to the oceanfront golf course, resort guests will find themselves in a state of purely relaxed, Puerto Rican heaven. The design of the resort is that of a traditional plantation house, creating a sense of warmth and intimacy that can be hard to find in most large resorts. The grounds are rich with lush green foliage and grand palms, helping to deepen your relaxation coma.

Guest Rooms maintain the Plantation style with the wood paneled ceiling, fans, dark wood, and a soft color palette. I can only imagine how good it would feel to sink into the bed and pull those cool and crisp white, high thread count sheets over my head.

The Guest Bathrooms are clad in marble, encompass a large tub for which you can continue your relaxation after a big day of poolside reading and they have a separate shower and an imbedded LCD Television.

I imagine enjoying an early morning stretch on the Governor’s Suite Balcony and listening to the sounds of Mother Nature awakening the day.

You can spend the day at the pool, basking in the sun while enjoying gorgeous views of crystal blue waters.

Anyone would fall in love with the game of golf with a course like this; you can’t get any closer to the water without needing to swim. Not much of a golfer? Hang at the Infinity pool that dives into the course.

Bahia Beach is just footsteps away from your Plantation home away from home. The long stretch of beach is perfect for day campouts and leisurely strolls. Take a seat under one of the Palapas (beach hut) and take in the beauty of it all.
