Feature Friday: Palazzo Versace, Dubai

Australia's Gold Coast has been experiencing the luxurious vacation stay that Palazzo Versace has to offer for almost 11 years now. Rumors of the opening date of the Palazzo Versace in Dubai have been circulating for a few years and it seems that 2011 is the year we will actually see it happen. The ever lavish Dubai is the perfect home for Versace. The hotel is to have 213 rooms -all gorgeous- and some rooms will even have their very own swimming pools. Keeping with the growing trend for hotels to have condos for purchase, you can have your very own Versace condominium. Condominium owners have access to all the hotel services and facilities but they also have some of their own. A state of the art fitness center, fine dining experiences, and high end shopping are some of the other activities open to hotel guests and condo owners.

Dubai can make something that may sound ridiculous but seriously awesome actually happen. Prime example: Palazzo Versace is creating an underground cooling system that ensures the sand that the guests are sunbathing on does not get too hot. That's right, the sand will never be too hot for your bare feet, wild, I know. There will also be a cool temperature pool so that guests can be comfortable in the scorching heat.

The palace-like guest rooms are fit for a queen - with parquet flooring, floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with light, exquisite silks and linens, a large open bath, gorgeous furniture and details galore - The oh so glamorous Versace design trademark look is certainly apparent here.
