Hand Painted Chocolates: Oh, What a Treat!

Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Pâtissier has some very beautiful and unique chocolates for this Valentine's Day or rather, any day. Christophe Paume is a 3rd generation French Chocolatier and has brought his skill and love of chocolate making to America. In 2009, Christophe opened his first store in Charleston, South Carolina and more recently, an online store. Not only can you order a lovely box of chocolates for your Valentine, but you can hire Christophe to create custom chocolate sculptures, wedding favors and logo printed chocolates for weddings and corporate events. All of the chocolates are handmade, hand painted, gluten-free and preservative-free - now you have no excuse not to try one!

If you take a look at the hand painted chocolate menu, you will see that these aren't your typical chocolates. Each one is hand painted and unusual flavors are combined. Flavors such as blue cheese, earl grey and lavender caramel are just a few that I am ever so curious to try. The truffles remain on the more traditional flavor scale but still have a few unexpected surprises, such as banana's foster and peach pecan. If a box of chocolates isn't your thing, Christophe offers other specialty items, such as coconut macaroons, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, and chocolate dipped Viennese shortbread.

...oh, and did I mention that the small Valentine heart box is edible truffle? mmm!
