So I don't know what's going on because Anthropologie was rumored to have launched 11 decorating stores in the US and 1 in London in March. As with all things Anthropologie, this home store was to be far from average.
According to Elle Decor, the store will be more like "an in-house workshop that offers decorating advice, inspiration, and plain old fun for decorators and non-decorators alike. In-store experts are on hand to offer design advice and help in decision making. New products such as curtains, furniture, hardware, lighting, and wallpaper—including items previously available only online—will be showcased with samples, swatches, background information, and care instructions. Regular events will allow design experts to advise and instruct all manner of enthusiasts, from the curious to the devoted. An online component will launch soon."
Okay, so I know that they launched the online component, For the Decorator, but where are the actual stores/workshops? Did I misunderstand and they are just having in-store classes at existing Anthro stores? I haven't heard a peep about them since the rumored launch and I am dying to know if I should make a special trip to Beverly Hills to check it out. SO, if you have any info on this, please please let me know!
