Avant-garde sculptor, painter and novelist, Yayomi Kusama has recently collaborated with Louis Vuitton and is hitting a number of stores worldwide with eye-popping window displays and a unique collection of Vuitton goods reinterpreted by Kusama. If you're even just a tiny bit familiar with Kusama, you will know that she has a major obsession with dots and she knows how to make them POP. Her displays for Vuitton are nothing less than dramatic. Red and white dots increasing and decreasing in size help to reel customers to more dot covered displays of Kusama's collection of shoes, handbags, scarves, jackets and more, which as you may have guessed, are clad in dots. I was first introduced to Kusama's wildly vivid artwork while visiting a museum in Sydney, Australia. Her exhibition was one of the most interesting, playful and thought-provoking I have ever seen. If you get the chance to experience her display at a Louis Vuitton store or at a museum, you must do it. It's an experience you will not forget.
